Registration & class make up Policies
Students are encouraged to sign up for the entire session. Drop-ins are welcome.
FREE PREVIEW CLASSES FOR NEW STUDENTS: Available the first week of each session:
Up to three missed classes can be made-up by attending any other classes in the session. Make ups must be used in the same session in which the series was purchased and cannot be carried over into future sessions. All Class passes purchased must be used on or before the expiration date.
Classes subject to cancellation/change of fee if under – enrolled.
Refund policy
All Class Passes and series purchases are non refundable, non extendable, non sharable, and non transferable to other persons. Class passes are subject to limits of time. Always check your expiration date before and after your purchase.
Workshop & special event refund policy
Workshop purchases are non-refundable, non sharable, and non transferable to other person.
Class or workshop cancellation Policy
If a class/workshop is cancelled due to inclement weather, teacher emergency or other circumstances out of our control, the class/workshop will be rescheduled.
Private lesson cancellation and refund policy
Full payment will be charged if you cancel a private session with less than 24 hour notice.
If you are late for a private class the class will end at the original time.
If you are more than 20 minutes late for a private class it is at the Teacher’s discretion whether to hold a short class or not.
Physical Well-being
Injuries: Please inform the teacher before the beginning of class if you have any injuries or physical issues.
Menstrual periods: Women who are in menstrual periods are advised to avoid certain poses including strong twists, abdominal work, and deep back bends, as well as any inversions. It is your responsibility to inform the teacher before class if your condition warrants such caution. The teacher will give you a separate sequence of yoga postures under these conditions.
Description of Levels
1. Level I: Is for absolute beginners who have not done yoga before. Also a good introduction for those new to the Iyengar yoga method. Covers the foundational standing asanas, seated asanas, forward bends, twists, and back bends. Students are beginning to learn Halasana (plough pose) and Sarvangasana (shoulder stand). Introduction to basic Pranayama (breath control exercise).
2. Level II. Intermediate back bends, including Urdhva Dhanurasana, are introduced. Students begin to prepare and learn Sirasasana (Head stand). Become stable in Halasana and Sarvangasana. Separate Pranayama classes are included in the sessions.
