There will not be any group yoga lessons during this school vacation week. The classes will resume on April, 24, 2012. However, there will be a make-up lesson on Thursday, April, 19, 2012 from 7:00 – 8:00 P.M.
About Aruna – Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher
Aruna’s father Dr. N.C. Nagaraj introduced her to yoga at the age of 14 in India. Her study of yoga was complemented with spiritual studies provided by her mother, Padma. Later, Aruna studied hatha yoga with her sister Dr. Anitha in India. After she moved to US, she was introduced to Iyengar yoga by well-known Yoga Bodhi, Iyengar yoga teacher Elizabeth O’Shea Sullivan and world-renowned Senior Advanced Iyengar yoga teacher Patricia Walden. Aruna has studied with internationally known excellent teachers at Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute (RIMYI) in Pune, India. She also attended Yoganusasanam 2014 workshop taught by Dr. Geeta Iyengar. Aruna is a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher. She continues to study the advanced Iyengar method of yoga from Senior Advanced Iyengar yoga teacher Patricia Walden.
